Glad to be back in shows after being gone for so long. The crowds have been great! I forgot how much fun the shows are to be in. I am also getting amped for bow hunting whitetails in Wisconsin!
We had a great time in Hell, Michigan! The drive home on the other hand was not as exciting. Our rig broke down and we were only able to drive 15-25 miles per hour. A normal 16 hour drive turned into a 36 hour drive but we made it home and it is good to be back in Pigeon Forge!
As the season dies down, road shows are gearing back up. I am excited to be doing demos at this years Govenor’s Conference on Tourism at the Wilderness at the Smokies. We actually get to log roll in the lazy river! Come check us out on September 19th as part of the opening night party. YO HO!
It was a good and busy summer. I got to compete a a few of the competitions this year and earned the 2012 Bull of the Woods title. Looking forward to a busy fall.
I have been training pretty hard for all the summer competitions. Started training on my toe gaffs again, felt great! I can’t wait to get to Alaska and compete in the Alaskan IRONJACK competition!
I have been training for the upcoming Webster Springs competition in WV. I am really excited to be competing with Zach Brown. YO HO!
I began my training regime again for the upcoming competition in Webster Springs, WV. Myself and a couple of other Lumberjacks from the show will be going up and excited to be apart of that competition.
Just got back in town from road shows in Omaha, NE and Milwaukee, WI, where they had 21 inches of snow! I am loving the warm weather and the warm people back in Tennessee! Gearing up for Bristol this weekend where we will have the Lumberjacks at the Speedway doing an exhibition. Come check us out! Yo Ho!
Just finished up with the Omaha Bull of the Woods where I was the champion! It was an honor to win both of the Bull of the Woods this year. Excited to perform at the Bristol Motor Speedway the middle of March. Hope to see some of you there! Yo Ho!
Happy Valentine’s Day! We just got the delivery of wood for the decking on the arena floor and the work has begun! I cannot wait until this project is finished, 1,000 ft of decking will surround the pond which will make the competition that much more exciting! It will help the athletes as well, the wood is more forgiving and easier on our knees and feet. Come check it out and I will see you soon!
