October is peak fall in the Great Smoky Mountains, but it is also the start of spooky season! If you’re looking for family-friendly frights and good times during Halloween in Pigeon Forge, here are some of the area’s must-dos:
Halloween Mini Golf & Zombie Escape Room
Crave Golf Club transforms into an eerie “Craveyward” for the only Halloween-themed putt-putt in town! There are ghoulish characters to interact with, face-painting stations, and the attraction encourages guests to come dressed in their Halloween costumes for themed photo ops. After a few rounds of miniature golf, you can head over to the Zombie Research Lab, a fun escape room for all ages; both younger kids and adults will have a blast trying to find the cure for the Zombyte virus before the time runs out!
Trick or Treating at The Island
The Island is the best place to take the kids on Halloween in Pigeon Forge! You can go trick-or-treating at the many shops and stores without having to, enjoy seasonal food and drinks, and watch a special spooky version of the Island Fountain Show. With the Halloween decor and lights on the kids’ rides, spending the evening at The Island will no doubt be a highlight of your trip!
Haunted Cabin Escape Game at Lumberjack Square
Trapped Escape Games is one of the best things to do in Lumberjack Square during spooky season for older kids, teens, and adults! In the Haunted Cabin Escape Room, you’ll attempt to find out where old man Ramsey hid his secret moonshine still and vast fortune deep in the Sevier County woods, but will you make it out alive before he comes a haunting? You can also do a mysterious mansion or asylum escape game, among others, so there are several bone-chilling themes to choose from!
Spooktacular Sweet Treats at The Yard Milkshake Bar
Celebrate your escape from the haunted cabin with a sweet treat from The Yard! This dessert shop in Lumberjack Square has several Halloween-themed creations, like Witch’s Brew (sea salt caramel ice cream mixed with apple cider, topped with caramel and green marshmallow drizzle, Halloween sprinkles, a doughnut, whipped cream, and a witch’s hat cone) or Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (cookies and cream ice cream with chocolate and green marshmallow drizzle, topped with gummy worms, whipped cream, crushed oreo cookies, candy eye balls, and an edible cookie dough RIP gravestone).
Last Chance for Our Jack-toberfest Show
October 31st is the last day for our special Jack-toberfest event, as well as one of the final opportunities to enjoy our regular show before the holiday season. This fall festival features a Bavarian-style buffet before the show, exclusive Oktoberfest beer, beer stein, and other Jack-toberfest souvenirs, as well as many other pre-show activities, including pumpkin painting and beer stein holding competitions!
These are just a few of the must-dos in the area to experience spooky family fun during Halloween in Pigeon Forge! Take a look at our Pigeon Forge show schedule and get your tickets for Lumberjack Feud Supper Show to enjoy a late fall visit to the Smokies!
