Are you planning a late fall vacation to the Smokies? Then this guide to November in Pigeon Forge TN is for you! Find out what to expect from the weather, areas in the national park to check out before they close for the winter, seasonal events, and other exciting things going on, like our Christmas Dinner Show!
Weather
Visiting Pigeon Forge from early to mid-November still gives you a chance to enjoy the Smoky Mountain fall foliage and mild temperatures. There may be some rainy days, but overall, the temperatures continue to be cooler, but not quite cold enough for snow. So as long as you pack warm layers and a sturdy jacket, you’ll be well prepared!
November is the last month to enjoy certain national park areas and activities like guided horseback rides, hayrides, and carriage tours in Cades Cove. It’s also your last chance to access the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail and the road to Kuwohi (formerly known as Clingman’s Dome) before they close until the spring.
