1. Lumberjack Competition
One thing that hypes up the crowd at our shows is the competition between the lumberjack families. The Dawsons and McGraws compete against each other in several events, making it an exciting race to see which family will be the winners at the end of the show. The anticipation and friendly competition will grab your children’s attention from the beginning!
2. Watching the Events
Not only is the competition interesting to kids, the events themselves are captivating. There are 13 events in the show you get to watch the lumberjacks perform. Your heart will race as they try to stay on the logs in the boom run and log roll. It’s exciting to watch the lumberjacks on the speed climb as they race up a vertical log or on the springboard chop. Axe throwing is also exciting to watch, as well as double buck sawing through the logs. Everyone in the family, especially your kids, will enjoy watching all of the events.
3. Kids Event During Intermission
A special activity that’s designed just for kids is the event during intermission. Kids are called down from the audience to participate in a special event. They will get to interact with the lumberjacks and jills while having a blast being center stage. This intermission activity will make your kids love Lumberjack Feud in Pigeon Forge even more!
4. High Woodsman Challenge
Kids of all ages will want to try the High Woodsman Challenge at Lumberjack Feud in Pigeon Forge. This is an obstacle and ropes course in the Adventure Park. It is made for children 5 years old and up. Bounce from obstacle to obstacle and make your way through bridges and rope designs. The top section of the course has a harness to ensure you’re safely strapped in, and the bottom section is completely netted.
5. Riding the Flying Ox
For a ton of thrills, your kids will love riding the Flying Ox. This ride is a one-of-a-kind experience, since there’s no other coaster like it in the world. Lumberjack Feud in Pigeon Forge partnered with a zipline company to create this zipline mountain coaster experience. You’ll be strapped into the chair, swinging and swaying the entire ride over the rest of the Adventure Park. Kids will love how their heart is pumping the entire ride!
6. Playing Loggersports
If your kids loved watching the show, they can try some of the events they saw at Loggersports in the Adventure Park. They will be able to see who can stay on the log the longest on the log roll. Don’t worry though; they’ll be strapped into a harness so they can’t fall in the pool. You’ll also get to try the boom run and the speed climb up the log!
